![]() The fact that they're so easily shut down makes them very vulnerable. That's kind of the problem though, as if at least one zombie manages to break into your defenses, three lanes of Scaredy-Shrooms stop attacking. However, the main difference is that Scaredy-Shroom hides in fear when zombies get too close to him. Scaredy-Shroom works a lot like Peashooter, but is much cheaper as it's a mushroom meant to be used at night. ![]() But that's not the case, so they sit near the bottom of D tier. If Chompers took less time eating zombies, then they would be a pretty good plant. It takes so long, that even with a lawn full of Chompers, you're bound to get overwhelmed by zombies in harder levels. The main problem here is how long Chomper takes to eat a zombie. A plant that can eat a zombie whole, and then needs to wait before eating another one. The concept of Chomper is actually pretty good. It's just not that useful in most scenarios. Granted, I do remember making a crazy Split Pea strategy in Pogo Party, but that's really all I ever did with Split Pea. It's a peashooter that also shoots peas backwards, but that's not really useful in most scenarios. But after getting Starfruit, I don't really see the point of using Split Pea. You really only need to use it in Level 4-6 to fight the Digger Zombies there since you don't have Starfruit yet. The only thing Cabbage-Pult has that makes it better than Peashooter is that it can attack over the slanted side of the roof. It costs the same and does the same amount of damage. It's great as an initial plant, but as soon as you gain other attacking plants, peashooter is outclassed immediately.Ĭabbage-Pult is pretty much like Peashooter. It's the first plant you get, and teaches you the basics of how to play. Peashooter is along with Sunflower, the most iconic plant in this game. And aside from defeating Balloon Zombies, it's just a more expensive peashooter. In fact, both Blover and Cattail can defeat Balloon Zombies in all lanes. The thing is, every other plant that has defeating Balloon Zombies as its main purpose is much better at it. It functions like a peashooter, but can pop balloons. It is outclassed by other plants in everything it does. This plant is just underpowered in every sense. There's only one plant I've placed on F rank. Ok, now that this is out of the way, let's move on to the tier list! Those are the plants that will not be ranked, due to their unique abilities and functions, which cannot be directly compared to the rest of the plants in the game. So here's a list of the plants I won't be including in the tier list: It's a specific function that no other plant does, and it would be impractical to compare them to the rest. You see, there are some plants I simply can't rank because of what they do. ![]() Ok, so before we begin, I want to tell you that I won't be ranking all of the plants in the game. At the end I'll give you a link so you can make your own tier list as well! Let's begin, shall we? it's been a long while since I last played, so there may be a few inaccuracies here and there. Since I found this tier list, I decided I should use the opportunity to make a blog post about it! That's right, I'll make a blog post where I rank the different plants in the original Plants vs Zombies game! I've seen rankings done on youtube, but I've decided to make my own based on my own experiences on the game. I think as a kid the furthest I got was around 50 flags, but of course, I didn't know the internet had a wiki full of survival endless strategies.Īnyway, back to the topic at hand. It was my favorite PC game, and I loved playing through it over and over again, beating the mini-games, the survival modes, and specially trying my hand at Survival Endless. Oh, the good childhood days! I remember playing this game all the time back then. I remember I got the game in 2010, and started playing it. This made me go back in time to when I played PvZ 1. You see, I've been exploring the TierMaker site, and having fun making a few tier lists, when suddenly, I came across one that caught my attention. Hello everyone! Redfork2000 here! Today I've been thinking a lot about tier lists. ![]()
